Biography:
Ayesha is a fictional character portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She is the golden-skinned, genetically engineered leader of the Sovereign, a race of beings obsessed with perfection and genetically engineering their offspring.
Ayesha first appears in *Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2* (2017), portrayed by actress Elizabeth Debicki. As High Priestess, she hires the Guardians of the Galaxy to protect valuable batteries from interdimensional monsters, but becomes enraged when Rocket Raccoon steals some of them.
Driven by a desire for revenge, Ayesha relentlessly pursues the Guardians across the galaxy. In the film's post-credit scene, she is seen creating a new, more powerful being designed specifically to destroy them, whom she names Adam.
